Our client aimed to elevate employee motivation and engagement to the next level, aligning with both company objectives and the personal goals of each member of the management team. The company operates in the automotive industry and has a strong lean culture.
Implementation
To ensure this harmony, CMI proposed implementing the PBSC (Personal Balanced Scorecard): The Personal Balanced Scorecard consists of mission, vision, essential roles, objectives, performance indicators, and improvement actions. All these elements are distributed across four dimensions: financial aspect, external customers; internal processes, and knowledge and learning.
To achieve professional goals, there is a need for balance and harmony between personal and professional life, with the PBSC being a tool that supports this aspect. Therefore, its implementation (at least within the top management team) is essential for reaching the highest level of excellence.
As a personal element, its application was successful through the creation of a framework. The methodology was presented in a training session, with individual time allocated for each participant to define elements such as mission, vision, objectives, actions, etc. All team members were guided to define their PBSC individually. The activity was optional and had a personal character; each participant decided whether or not to apply it.
Following up on these programs, coaching sessions were conducted with highly specialized consultants
